Cackle Cars are primarily original; restored Dragsters, Funny Cars and Altereds from the golden era of Drag Racing. It is accepted that the "golden era" is the time from the beginning of the sport, early '50s, until the mid to late '70s. As we try to have these cars as a living display, the term "Cackle" comes from the unique sound these cars produce running on Nitromethane.
