The schedule has now been released for the upcoming 2014 Pioneer and Legends Awards at Sydney Dragway, on Saturday 27th September.

NOON - Gates open

12.30pm to 2pm  Lindsay Churchill's band 'The Wrong Keys' playing a selection of covers.

2.30pm.  Legends Awards, in this order:

• Bob Campbell and Chris Mills (W.A.)
• Len Leonard and Brian Hutchesson  (S.A.)
• Peter Wileman and Peter Clarke (Vic)
• Mick Borg and Ed Stipanovich  (N.S.W.)
• George Wegener and John White (Qld)
• Col Russell (Outstanding Achievement - Vic).

4.30pm  Q&A with Bob Shepherd....on stage.

6.00pm.  Pioneer Awards, in this order:

• Jon Van Daal
• Rod Marchant
• Paul Rogers Snr
• Ron Harrop
• Ross Mellish
• John Maher

In the Racecar Corral, several vehicles will be on display and a cackle of Nitro will see out the evening.

Georgette Bros 'Outrage' Topolino Altered, Satisfaction 'Gas' Cortina, Preen Family 'Banshee' fuel car, Rick Cartisanos 'Gold Digger', the Blake Family's gorgeous F.E.D., Warren and Freddie Armour's restored 6 cylinder dragster, Longfield family Nitro F.E.D., John Cornish's 'Valkyrie' side valve F.E.D. from 'w-a-y back', Dave Armstrong 'Sandman' Nitro F.E.D., Col Walls' 'Brutal' altered, Jamie Robertson's 'Mr Manic' altered, Shane Corr '63 Nova and FJ 'Hump This', Michael 'Waterboy' McKenna' '70 Nova 'Mac Attack' and just waiting on final confirmation of Russell Mills new Richard Botica built 'Alster'.....a combination of dragster, altered and funny car technology - an awesome brand new car.

It really is shaping as an absolute cracker event.  Every day something new happens, whether its another identity coming along, an old/new car making an appearance or something funny being added to the stage pantomime.

Saturday 27th....... BEE THERE! (spoken in our best Mike Raymond voice).
